A television executive searching for the ultimate show for his sex-based network comes across Videodrome a pirate broadcast of what appears to be pornographic snuff films. Trying to track down the makers he enters a world of extreme sex and violence in one of David Cronenbergs early films that while explicit also satirises the media industry and its attempts at mind-control.
