Following the sudden death of her father-in-law a young woman returns to her husbands family home - a charming house on a secluded island. While her husband refuses to remain at the house owing to rumours of a curse haunting his family the woman determines to stay on and enjoy the tranquillity. However when her husband is nearly killed in a freak accident on the way home the woman turns detective and uncovers a shocking mystery.
