As for the special chars: Any ASCII char will do, so, e.g.: ,;.:-_#'+*~^°'§$%&/()=?`{[]} and if you're courageous: ß

@RAMI1234: Please use the forum for SF; if your password isn't hard enough, you will be hacked, but you can still program on OTR.

Currently, we don't expect an update of the app to come up anytime soon, so any energy put into using it on a device where it doesn't work out of the box, is fruitless.

If I was you, I'd remove the app from my device and switch to the mobile view of the OTR website. That is actively maintained and behaves well.

As for the Android app: Android 10 is more recent than Android 8 and the latter is the most recent one that sort of still works with OTR, so your Android 10 is out of the question, anyway..

@RAMI1234: I'm glad the password thing has turned out well for you. Try to make your password as complex as possible. 8 to 10 characters, at least one upper one lower case character, at least one special character and at least one number should be fine.

@PeGu: So how can I know if and when it will be updated to version 10 as well? Instead of trying to get in there every day without success? Thanks in advance.

@PeGu: about that : This app hasn't been actively maintained for ages and creates all kinds of problems with android )8. Looks like I have another Android

You should change your passwort after your first log in here. Do not forget to change it also in your decoder software.

@PeGu: Can you please make me a password once and then I will change it to a password that suits me? Because I can not password for OTR site but for the OTR forum community I was able to password.
