David Halloran a US pilot finds himself in the arms of nurse Margaret Sellinger. Although shes married the pair start an affair. Then Halloran is given a mission - to fly secret agent Paul Sellinger Margarets husband on a mission into the heart of Occupied France. Neither knows of the others love for Margaret until downed and on the run Paul learns of the affair and must choose between his wife and his mission.
