Due to a scientific experiment gone awry a research team ends up in a strange land below the earths crust. There they must fend off a series of strange creatures including vicious dinosaurs and spiders. Meanwhile above ground Emily Radford helps military official Joseph Harnet with his plan to save the stranded research team. Their strategy is to use a high-powered drill to bore their way to the researchers one of whom is Emilys sister.
