Miriams adventure starts in Indiana where they re busy shaping the next generation of mini model citizens at summer camp. Not keen on kids and even less keen on patriotic enforced jollity Miriam joins the hundreds of young campers as they begin their days pledging allegiance to God and the US flag and end them sharing thanks around a fire. She meets evangelical camp counsellor Bobby and is persuaded to try her hand at pottery with some alarming results.
