A tough cop must escort a key witness to trial in another state but there are heavily armed gangsters and a contingent of corrupt cops who do not want the woman a hooker to testify and when the lawman calls his boss for back-up he finds himself under fire not only from the Mob but the Las Vegas police force as well.
