Convicted of committing capital murder in 2004 he was sentenced to death by Judge Bobby Galvan in 2008 for a robbery that netted him and his two female accomplices Angela Rodriguez and Christina Chavez a grand total of 1.25. His victim Pablo Castro a Mexican immigrant convenience store worker with young children was left for dead.
